SENIOR COMPETITION
Senior competitions will be open to all pipers WHO HAVE NOT WON the Gold Medal for Piobaireachd or WHO HAVE NOT WON the Former Winners MSR in the respective competition at either the Northern Meetings or the Argyllshire Gathering as at the date on which entries close.
Former winners of the Dunrobin Gold Medal for Piobaireachd or the Gledfield Crystal Trophy as Overall Senior Champion at Dunrobin Piping Championships WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE to enter.
N.B. Competitors choice of tunes must be submitted along with Entry Forms, otherwise entry will not be accepted
Entry to the Hornpipe and Jig competition will be open to all competitors competing on the day.Judges choice of tunes will be advised to competitors during week prior to the competition.
A ballot will take place to determine the order of play.
N.B. Excessive tuning on platform - SEE RULE 5

Competitors to submit 4 tunes. Judges will choose one.
Prizes - 1st £200 2nd £150 3rd £130 4th £100March, Strathspey & Reel
Competitors to submit 4 Marches, 4 Strathspeys and 4 Reels. Judges will choose 1 of each.
March to be played twice through with Strathspey & Reel being played once through.N.B. No tuning will be permitted between March and Strathspey & Reel.
Prizes - 1st £150 2nd £130 3rd £100 4th £ 80Hornpipe and Jig
Competitors to submit one Hornpipe and one Jig of their own choice to be played once through.
